UM Interview 21-5-2013

Today is my First time ever in my life to attend an interview, being selected by University of Malaya(UM) to attend their first year interview.I was so proud of myself at the same time my adrenaline was boosting! Gosh,I couldn't imagine that i was one of them, one of the potential students to join UM this year September! One week back, I checked it online after the checklist is announced, i was staggering while taiping in my IC number.Then an official invitation appeared in front of me stating that I'm listed in their interview session! I was shocked and stared at monitor for a couple of time before i could tell my girl friend about it! I could not believe what i saw, I'm so lack of self-confident since the first time i stepped into kindergarden til now! Words are pretty hard to confess how I felt when my IC number was valid! In short, I have chosen Statistic as my degree study, but I have no idea about what to do and not to do during the interview. What I knew about myself is I'm very good in smiling, pretty good..I was thinking that this could work, so I smile everytime when I practicing with my own ,like an idiot right? Yes, exactly an idiot when i review my video recorder. Trying very hard in search of my course, absorbing all kind of statistic information from wikipedia, private website, forum and researching all things about UM! I was putting myself as a detective and 007 james bond! I was crazy frenzy, keep on training my tones, pronounciation every time when my parent was not in, controlling my expression and body languages strictly during my practices! Nightmare comes to me each night, dreaming myself in a small room being interviewed by the friendly interviewers! Nightmare becomes significantly scare as the day passed.I was putting myself to limit! And then, finally it comes to the interview day! I woke up before the dawn, that was 6.00am! I was dressing myself quickly and packing all the necessary items like certificates, bottle of water and the most important thing is GPS! My beloved GF would like to follow me up, she comes with me giving me fully support, knowing that I could not stable myself as this was my first time interview! Thank you Betty! your are my angel >"
